Located on 327 Cedar Road in Maitland, Hants County, Nova Scotia we are the exclusive distributor of brand new Amish made Horse Drawn Equipment in Atlantic Canada. We feature manufacturers such as Pioneer Equipment, Lancaster Spreaders, I & J Manufacturing, Boontown Sprayers, Yoders Shoeing Stocks and Brubakers re-conditioned equipment.

Owner and founder Richard D. MacKenzie started working with horses and farming with them in 1995. Having performed many tasks using horses over the years and always accumulating knowledge from his travels and experiences, he is able to apply this experience towards this new company in the usage and applications of the machinery involved.

We offer a good selection of equipment but it would be simply impossible to stock everything that we have to offer. We will also be offering a delivery service to most locations using a bonded carrier - or you can come by our location at 327 Cedar Road in Maitland, Nova Scotia and pick it up yourself.

Activities at Atlantic Draft Horse Supply

Our ADHS Springtime Equipment Demonstration Day has been rescheduled for June 14, 2014.

Come by and watch the new equipment being used like the Lancaster Manure Spreaders, various pieces of Pioneer Cultivation Equipment like ploughs (both sulky and walking), cultivators and the Pioneer Homesteader. We will also be featuring the I & J Manufacturing Ground Drive PTO Forecarts weather permitting.

2013 Spring Field Day

Despite the rain and cool day, approx. 120 people showed up during the day to view the equipment and activities at our 2013 Spring Field Day event. We had visitors from Bouctouche and Woodstock, NB, PEI and from Digby to Upper Cape Breton in NS...thanks to you all for coming!
